Making it clear from the outset that in matters of this kind PAVAUK assumes a mantle of neutrality.

In these difficult financial times The Charities Commissioners have introduced changes in  need for full or otherwise audited accounts, increasing the lower threshold from £10,000 to £25,000. This means that more small charities will be able to submit returns under an independent declaration, thus saving them auditors fees.

It is important to make what money we have work for the benefit of the charity and those it supports. HSBC bank have been renewed as the bankers for this charity for a further year. Since their appointment some three years ago they have been extremely supportive.

HSBC have advised us that a referral fee of £50 is payable to sources who introduce new clients. Whilst we do not make any comment on the suitability of HSBC or its employees, or any of its services, we would be delighted to receive any such referral fees either directly or by way of donation. Should you require any further information on how to achieve this please do not hesitate to contact us. Your local HSBC branch will also be pleased to assist.
