At the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 20th October 2009 an Extraordinary General Meeting was held immediately prior. This was with the authority of the Charity Commissioners and was to ratify a change of two aspects of the Constitution :-

1)    To reduce the minimum number at a general meeting being quorate from 12 to 8

2)    To Change the word Associate to Honorary in all sections to describe as an acknowledgement membership due to a similar ethos and working practice  in the field of Safeguarding and Protection of Vulnerable Adults from Abuse.

There were THIRTEEN members present and the above proposals were carried unanimously.

This will be adopted from todays date and the appropriate return has been made to The Charity Commissioners.
