WELCOME  to the new and re-vamped website for PAVAUK which has been a while in arriving since the enforced changes following the collapse of the webhosting company. We apologise for the delay.

What is PAVAUK???

PAVAUK was formed in 1997 by Jacki Pritchard and Mervyn Eastman who had been working with the issue of abuse of vulnerable adults for a number of years.

PAVAUK works in partnership with others engaged in the protection of Vulnerable Adults and sees its work as complementary to that of other statutory and voluntary bodies.

PAVAUK strives through collaboration with practitioners in the statutory, voluntary and private sectors to develop practice based interventions and to generate positive outcomes in working with the abuse of vulnerable adults. This is achieved by developing inter-agency working, encouraging local forums promoting problem solving on key issues and dilemmas in practice and lobbying at both national and local levels.

It must be said and reminded that the Charity operates with the 100% contribution by voluntary Officers, Trustees, Co-Optees and support with only a fraction of renumerated admin support. This note also acknowledges with thanks that contribution.
